Directions to the Starting Line
From I-40:
Take exit 127 and turn east onto US-64 (E. Oak St). Drive east for ~1/2 mile until reaching Elsinger Blvd.
Turn right onto Elsinger and drive 1/4 mile to the Petsmart location on the left
side of the road.

Race History
2006 was the inaugural running of the Chase
Race 2 Mile Race & Paws 1 Mile Run. 2007 was the first year for the Chase Race to be part of the Arkansas
Grand Prix Series. Special features of the race day atmosphere include a costume judging for the best dressed pet, with awards, and
tons of extras for kids. There is also a K-9 demonstration and pet adoption.

Course Description
The 2 mile race starts in front of Petsmart in the Conway Commons Shopping
Center. Runners will head south on Elsinger Blvd for a quarter mile and then
curve to the southwest to reach Amity Road. The race moves south along Amity,
passing the 1/2 mile point. The race then turns left onto Bridgestone Dr,
passing a lake and entering a residential neighborhood.
The course turns north onto Mockingbird Ln, takes a quick left onto Gwen Ln where the 1 mile marker is reached. With the race
now half over, the runners head south on Camilla Ln to return to Bridgestone Dr. The course follows Bridgestone back to Amity
Rd and Elsinger Blvd to reach the finish line back in front of Petsmart.
The course is flat, flat, flat.
