Directions to the Starting Line

From I-30:
Exit Stateline Avenue and go south approximately 3 miles. Go around Post Office and continue on Stateline Avenue for three blocks. Park in any of the open parking lots on your left.

From I-549:
take Texas Loop and exit South Stateline. Turn right on South Stateline. Exit 3rd Street. Go to Stateline and park in any of the open parking areas.

Race History

The Run the Line Half Marathon debuted in 2007. The race has grown in each year, and in 2010 will be part of the Arkansas RRCA Grand Prix Series.

Course Description

The race starts at 8:00am downtown at Broad Street and Stateline Avenue and will end back downtown on 3rd Street. This is a unique opportunity to run in one race that goes through two states. The course is relatively flat with a few long inclines and goes through both Cities of Texarkana with a short portion of the race on the Arkansas/Texas stateline. The race is primarily on asphalt and includes the Nix Creek Trail, the Phillip McDougal Trail in Spring Lake Park, and city streets with coning.
