I might point out that for a triathlon it is DQ for throwing things on the course. Maybe the RRCA should adopt similar legislation. There are too many trash cans on the way to throw things in people's yards

The half is already sold out Took about 12 days for it to fill. Those that want to do the full better get moving. Many will likely register for the full to do the half. Two years ago some registered for the 5K and did the half. Some didn't register at all.

My maximum on the treadmill was 15 miles. Was training for a marathon and there was Ice and snow on the ground. 10 miles for pace runs isn't too bad when it is very intense. Any thing over 1-1/2 hours becomes a problem for me. I think I asked them to put me on a suicide watch for that longer run. :c...

I read the same thing, registration closes at 3:00 pm Friday. I registered earlier, but tried to register my wife for the dog race and couldn't do it at 12:30 Fri.

Congratulations MB. LR was my first marathon as well. However I'm only 2340 miles behind you on that. Sorry no plans to try and catch you.
