I wore the shirt on Kavanaugh at the Firecracker water stop yesterday. I guess that doesn't count as a state, but I love this idea all the same. :D
Next up: Chicago 10.10.10, NWM 10.17.10

I was in Tulsa yesterday, had the shirt on, was getting all excited to take a picture, and then I realized...

I'm in Oklahoma. What on earth is there to take a picture of? I'll have to find a bison or an Indian casino to stand by or something.

It was overcast anyway, and all we had was a camera phone. I'll be back there on the 24th so I'll brainstorm and get a filler Oklahoma picture for the gallery.

here is an historic backdrop for a Tupelo, Mississippi picture for LRRC'ers in September. believe it or not, the sign, located at Main and Gloster Streets (crosstown), is a Tupelo landmark and has been there for eons.

if no one else gets there for a picture, I'll make sure and get one. of course, there's always the birthplace of The King, but that's probably a little cliche'..

Got Kansas on the way home from Omaha, pretty lame picture, but hey it was Kansas.
Still, surely there is something more historic, or at least something more aestestically pleasing, to stand in front of in the state of Kansas than the Overland Park Convention Center.
If someone is headed that way, get us something better.

Which brings up a good point...
if anyone is heading to a state we've already gotten, don't hesitate to take your shirt along and get a pic for the gallery.
We aren't limiting it to one pic per state.

Downloading photos from New Orleans Mardi Gras Marathon. Lo and behold, there's a picture of someone in a LRRC T-Shirt.

Louisiana is now OFF the list!

This was actually our first idea, but overcast+camera phone=picture unsuitable for the website. We'll have a proper camera when we go back in two weeks.

Great idea by the way with the gallery in general, "the shirt" has really transcended into something bigger than itself. It's attained legendary status.

excellent! with Texas and Oklahoma falling in the next few weeks, we will have the bulk of Tornado Alley locked up. From there we can attack the Gulf Coast or move towards the Mojave Desert.

I'm leaving for Cook City Sat. I don't have a shirt but I suppose I could borrow or buy one by then I could knock out Montana and Wyoming in one fell swoop. Idaho is also a possibility :D
