Geez, if Tom had a minute to get on this board.....he'd really have a few words to say, I'm sure.
So as for the Black Jack Rabbit I say, "Dude, I run twice a day usually! Casually in the morning. Yes perhaps slow but it helps with my weight and helps me get going in the morning. And then I run seriously in the evenings and I race almost every weekend!"
As for following someone off a bridge......COME ON, if I was that good at taking his instructions, I'd be winning some masters points. It's pure BS if you think Aspel doesn't have good advice. I take a lot of advice from a lot of people and usually stay pretty confused but if anyone has stayed consistent it is Sidewinder.
He may not be in the fast lane at the moment but the man is out and running everyday while pulling 10-12 hour work days and coaching too! So Stallion, baby pony, back off the "jumping off a bridge" jokes.
Heck I bet if I jumped off a bridge, you'd be right behind me trying to straighten my skirt on the way down.

LMAO BlackJack Rabbit.......I should've guessed you'd be behind me which is why you have to push. Well don't come crying to me when you fall down and go boom. Poor lame Stallion, guess we're gonna have to shoot him. Horse can't run no more.Black Stallion wrote:Looks can be deceving at times... OUCH ! You're right - I was sitting on the couch getting fat !! Before I started running 8+ years ago I hadn't run 26 miles in the previous 26 years. No one told me you don't run a marathon for your first race with that history and only 17 weeks of "training".sidewinder wrote: dhmac where were you 15years ago.... in stealth mode too....lol

But only YOU could be the JUDGE of that, right? LOL....I sure miss doing those group runs we did last year at Bona Dea, even if I couldn't keep up. It was nice hearing all the banter and trash talk in person instead of being scattered on the message board.
I can't run with anyone this evening because of work but if I get done in time I'll try to find out where everyone is running. And if someone has some beer and a bridge, who knows!
