The Go! Mile - June 18th - get registered!

Post by Brian S-ski »

The Go! Mile is coming up in less than two weeks!

You do not want to miss this inaugural event; Gary and Erin Taylor have a lot of really fun things planned.

And with five separate heats, not only is it going to be a fun race, but a great spectating event too. The course is a flat loop within the Burns Park Soccer Complex (15K runners will be familiar with the area). You can literally stand in one spot and view the entire race course.

Okay, so sign up today, via Mac's Online Registration:
http://register.macsrts.com/Search/even ... 215bf.aspx

The price is only $15! But, the fees go up if you wait much longer. So, sign up today!

Also, I personally guaranteed Gary Taylor that I could get 20 more Grand Prix runners to sign up by noon on Thursday.

So, please help me out and sign up now. As an extra bribe, any GP runners that are signed up for the Go Mile by the deadline above will have their name entered into a drawing for two 2011 Grand Prix Series tech shirts. But only if we get 20 more registrations to meet my guarantee. So sign up and get all your teammates to sign up too!

Sakes alive, two more entries! Yeager and PT!

If 100 mile man PT can run it, then no one else can say "a mile is too short for me, :violin: "

This race will be epic! :cowbell: :cowbell:

Ah, no. Carter Witt has been signed up for awhile, but none of the registrations today were from the land of Nebo.

But we have received 3 more entries: Debbie Thompson of ARK and Jay Jennings & David H. Williams of the LRRC! DHW helps us bust another myth about one mile races: there's no such thing as too old to run a mile!
