Granted the razorbacks are...were and still are the best....but everyone strived for that 100 mile a week no matter who they were....and thats why a 20th place years ago was about 15.40 in a 5k....Its rear to see a 15.40 anymore, but just think 10 to 20 people under that time....Its just fitness club level today....hardly anybody wants to strive higher......

It's almost like I need to start reading historical documents to know what I should really be shooting for instead of settling for being just being AVERAGE!

No historical documents needed.....just look at what the good ones are doing....in other states...countries......go look at the results of different races...like a the Dublin city marathon.....a major 5k or 10k in Germany...or a distance run in the NW... or a run in Japan....try and see if you match up with those people....then you'll know....smiles.

I will gladly look but I don't need to look to see if I match up because I DON'T even match up to the slow ones here. I'm just saying I look around at the ones beating me and I think that is what I am to aspire to but in reality I should be shooting for a standard that doesn't even exist in Arkansas.
