26TH ANNUAL ADAM BROWN ROAD MILE

Folks, many of your may remember the Owens Road Mile at Lake Hamilton High School 10 miles west of Hot Springs on Highway 70. This road mile continues on August 27th under the direction of Brandon Smith which is now run on the old Airport Road on the campus. Where can you find a road race for four bucks?

Fees: $ 4 by August 25th, $ 5 after, including race day (make payable to Adam Brown Road Mile)

Course: Accurate, mostly straight with slight rolling hills.
Awards: Top 5 male & top 5 female finishers in each division
Times:
7:00 a.m. Late registration and restrooms open at LHHS field house, registration closes at 8:30 a.m.
8:00 a.m. 1st race: Open Males & Females
8:20 a.m. 2nd race: Sr. High Boys (10-12 grade)
8:40 a.m. 3rd race: Sr. High Girls (10-12 grade)
9:00 a.m. 4th race: Jr. High Boys (7-9 grade)
9:20 a.m. 5th race: Jr. High Girls (7-9 grade)
9:40 a.m. 6th race: Kids Half Mile: Boys & Girls (ages 12 - under).

Have just gotten word from Race Directors Brandon Smith and Karl Koonce that they have added a Master's Division (Ages 40+ male & female) within the Open Mile scheduled for 8 AM on August 27 at Lake Hamilton High School.
Hope to see a good turnout this year so it will continue next year!
