I've said it before, but it's worth an update on the congratulations to Black Stallion - what an amazing year!

1) Killed off Junior
2) Overall win in a 5-K
3) Returned to marathons with two finishes
4) Placed high in the toughest Grand Prix age group
5) Grand Prix IRON MAN
6) And the best of all - nominated for the Grand Prix Spirit Award!

Black Stallion represents everything that is good about racing and the Grand Prix.

We are so proud of our Black Stallion

Post by The Pink Panther »

I remember meeting this guy named Black Stallion at Fall Fest 2009.......He wasn't running but saw me stretching nervously on the starting line. He talked to me and I told him my story. He told me his and a friendship began. I had struggled and was up and coming and he had been a winner and was sliding downhill. After many races, some encouragement and prompting of second opinions, this MAN this STALLION, as we call him, made bold decisions against doctors and some family and HE WON! He beat the evil "junior (breathing problem)" and now he is BACK and back with a Vengeance. Now I am on the slide downhill and he is there for me. He's always trying to get me back up on top of my race. We both started out to be IRON MEN but I fell short a few races and just didn't get it done.

I AM THE #1 Black Stallion FAN! Way to go IRON HORSE! You rock!
