pacers????? Some ppl had pacers?? that can't be allowed,,what if every guy ran as a pacer for a woman? they would get in everyone that was really racing's way, plus that would ruin the reason they separate the heats to make the trail less congestive. D-Mac, Scott Sander and I did a long run after the race, but we made sure we got off the trail so we wouldn't be in anyone's way
Somewhere , someone is training when you are not. When you race against them, they will beat you!

And I could run really fast if someone was chasing me with a gun My point is NO ONE should have a pacer. What if the top 25 women decided to have a pacer? Heck, they could beat the other women because they could block them with their male pacers This ain't a 100 Mile Run,No Pacers Allowed! The Pink Panther wrote: I could probably run in the low 22s or 23s all the time if I had a pacer encouraging me

Hey Galen Rupp had a pacer (rabbit) Sat. night and STILL was awarded a new American Record in the 2 Mile. Just sayin.... Doesn't make it right but that's they way they do it on the "pro" level.kimhoward wrote:And I could run really fast if someone was chasing me with a gun My point is NO ONE should have a pacer. Hey guys I never meant to cause World War III on this one. I said it while blowing off steam. I'm just mad at myself for running so crappy. I need to lose weight and not race. What I saw didn't affect any GP points. The woman ran the race fair and square. It just shows me that it's possible to get it done if you WANT it bad enough. She wanted it BAD ENOUGH and I did not! She was NOT pulled around the course she was just encouraged and they are friends of mine. So that's all I'm saying. I already congratulated them on a great run. She paced me once to my 5k PR so I know how passionate she is and I was just jealous I guess. So that being said, Pacer or not..............you still have to be the one moving your feet. My feet were not moving fast enough Saturday! Congrats to anyone who used a pacer to become better at running!
