RC,
I along with the LDRC decided to not include Soaring Wings in the 2014 Grand Prix. Since it has been selling out every year, there's the possibility that a GP competitor doesn't get in and therefore could lose out on points. The Soaring Wings people have been great with making exceptions for these runners but really we want a race in place that doesn't have to make exceptions. Soaring Wings is having great success and we wouldn't ask them to change how they do things just to accommodate our needs; in their situation, they have to have a cap on registrations. Our runners need races that are not capped. Because of this incompatibility, we are going to use a different race for 2014.

The future is not set for 2015 and beyond.
