There is a saying BATTLES are won and lost over defense. this battle the NO NAME 5k was lost in the force Mistakes were made enough blame can go around. but "THE BUCK STOPS HERE" I will not try but will do better next year but It seems to me that what I always say from last year to the next. I will not rest untill I reach the perfection RACE OF THE NO NAME however long it takes. if it takes another 28 years to DIR. THE PERFECT RACE it will just have to take 28 years. THANKS to everyone that put in the time and effort to come out. I do THANK YOU. :hat  good job Carter and KATELYN THANKS for let me hang with you as long as I did. now I will take questions and concerns that some of you may have.

Okay - it was a little long. To me - no big deal. I still ran a PR for a 10 K and I beat Billy. How much better could it get. :cowbell: :cowbell: :cowbell:

You always do a good job and the free spaghetti meal after the race was excellent.

Besides, something is always going to go wrong and if this is the worse I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

Man, talk about a BEATING! And the punishment during the race was nothin compared to the punishment I endured after the race! Oh well, win some lose some! Now lets talk about the 1 Hour Track Race at Tech next week..... Since you boys are Crowin now, I know you'll give me a chance to re-deem myself! So Mr. Howard, to ensure I'll have you to compete with at the track race and the Valentines 5k, lets just say loser this week buys lunch at Ruby Tuesdays following the Valentines race. This would provide a double or nothin opportunity at the V-day race for the loser of the track race. And Mr. JNobleDaggett(D-smack) how bout the same bet, but different payoff times? I know you won't CRAWDAD out of a challenge after the fun you were having yesterday! :bow Geez, I better on the phone now to Michael of secure a loan to payoff all the debt these races could generate! Or should I be calling Bill Ward to help me eat all the winnings I'll be getting??? :ohyeah:

Now you are getting as bad as RLAG. She beats you in one race in a year and then somehow always has an excuse not to run in any race thereafter so that revenge may be had. !! Besides I am doing LRM and both races. How about moving long run back to say Thursday and then you have a couple of days to recover ? But if you are afraid of the next race then I guess that's not a possibility.

loll,,, Now even before I did beat YA'LL I told Billy I wouldn't be at those races. It's hard for me to do a long run on a weekday,,get up at 4:00,,,and hard to do it after work,,, I don't sit at a bench all day like some ppl lol :doh!:  :hat

Good job to everyone that ran! Sounded like a fun race!
