I'll be one of two folks leading the 4:00 pace group... we'll have a sign with us, corral c, come and run with us!!!

Clydesdale wrote:Sidewinder, if you told them the running and training you and Plummer used to do, they probably wouldn't believe it! As I recall you guys did almost a marathon for a long run most every week! Fill em in on some of your and Plummers more memorable runs from the mid and late 80's. It'll blow their mind!!!

Sidewinder, I met Dink Taylor Saturday night (after the Sylamore Trail 50K), and we got to talking about the late 70's early 80's and the speed back then.
It was almost like talking to you... he laughed when I told him your comment when we were talking about Barney Klecker... "back when everybody was fast".

Anyway, Dink held the CR at Sylamore Trail 50K - 3:40:37, the new record was set this past Saturday by David Riddle, 3:31:44... dude was smok'n.
Dink mentioned that he and David were going back out Sunday morning for another run.

Hey P (Yellar Jersey) T: It has suddenly dawned on me why you have held the yellar so long - you have obviously been getting "coaching" tips from RLAG. Win a race and then never accept another challenge & claim to be the CHAMP (or is it CHUMP?)

See you at LRM :hat

Clydesdale don't encourage him. I would rather be tortured with waterboarding than hear another sidewinder story.lol
