Running Shoe Recycling & Donation Drive
This Sunday, Jan. 30th, 9 - Noon
New shoes go on. Old shoes come off. And when they do, one question is asked, ‘What to do with my old running shoes?’ Donate them!

What: "A Mile in Their Shoes"
When: 9-12, Sun., Jan 30th
Where: Scott Field Track
Forest Heights Middle School 5901 Evergreen Dr. (H St. on other side), Little Rock

The Running Reshoe program began in 2007 and to date more than 500 pairs have been donated to worthy groups such as, Our House, CASA, local High Schools and students, homeless and many others. Whether you run a mile in the shoes, walk a lap or simply come by to say hi and drop off your shoes, all are welcome. In addition, used running apparel is also graciously accepted.

Reduce, Reuse, Reshoe is a community outreach program of the Little Rock Roadrunners Club, and we are really excited about our partnership with Go! Running to collect even more retired but still usable running shoes. It would be extremely helpful if people would wash and air dry their shoes before donating them. Donations are managed and distributed locally and having them already washed and ready to go speeds up (and we all want more speed, right??) getting them to those who benefit. :pompom: Thanks!
