Congrats goes out to Carter Witt for winning the AAAA State Championship 3200 meter run and finishing 2nd at the Meet of Champions. Carter's time of 10:05 was very impressive indeed. Daddy has to be a proud daddy!!

The question is do you read other posts since this has been on the board several days .
Question number 2 is which newspaper do you believe - the Courier or the Demo-zette? Both had his time as 10:05 but Demo said 4th place and Courier 2nd. Either is great but which is correct?

If you fellows were there you wouldn't have to depend on the papers...huh!!
Carter....you can run the something else when you are 30, 40, and 100 years old....like the circles....you only got ONE year in HS left, and 4 years of college.....make it the best you can...they'll go by pretty fast and then they'll be gone... so put some hefty goals out there and run some great track/cross-country....good luck.

Does Billy count as a "hefty" goal
On a serious note, congratu'freakn'lations CARTER! You da Man! Looking forward to watching you race this Sat!
And I agree...The courier is about as reliable as Billy paying up a bet
