Some of you MAY or MAY NOT KNOW and I could be wrong BUT IF i AM RIGHT there was a HALF MARATHON TODAY SUN. JUNE 5TH CLOSE TO Hot Springs if there was any one would like to share their expir. with the ones that was not as fort. to RUN it. I did do it the LAST YEAR THEY HAD IT. I promise MY GOOD FRIEND JERRY R. that I would one of these years AND I made good on that promise. but I was just asking.

I heard that Kim Howard finished 3rd overall male....time I think was 1:43:??.........Kaitlin Bounds, Becky Humes and Joel Perez also ran it too I think, but I haven't heard a report. Let me see if I can find the results. Nope not up yet. Keep checking arkansasrunner.com

Kaitlin wasn't there. Joel won,,,

I was 3rd,,MB was 4th and closin on me. They had it last year too, John, I ran it last year. The kitchen caught on fire about 4 AM so we didn't get to have the big buffet that they usually have. Gideon Drake was 2nd Overall in the 10K

I'd like to hear about the course. I'm always looking for good half marathons in Arkansas.

TOUGH!! I always run it 4-6 minutes slower than any other half. BIGGGG Hill on the way back. It's an out and back course. Country highway. You do have to listen for traffic. It's always on Memorial Day Weekend or the following weekend dependng on when the campers are there. You can get more info at cybhalfmarathon.com
