Agreed, a very fun day. Pretty cool to watch all the "races within the race".

What a great idea

Never seen a race before where everyone was happy and talking about what a great race it was. Hats off to everyone who created this and added it to the Grand Prix. :hat

Excellent Race. The multiple races/heats and atmosphere brought back memories of the Orange Crush XC Festival.. With a 5:20, I am now an official "Go Mile Elite Runner" haha! Elite and age 53 still is paradoxical.

Great idea for the one miler. It did work out better than I had thought. My only disappointment would be that there were not as many children doing it than there were. Wonder if that was a marketing issue or they are really that lazy as a group. I'm hoping it is the former. Maybe the race needs to be pushed at the schools before school lets out next year. Great opportunity to snag some kids into the fun of races :D

And maybe you will learn how to tell time - or get a new watch for Christmas - or have a friend help you get your walker to the starting line on time next year.

I'm gonna go with getting a memory coach. I sent an email to our team, giving them all the times and such. Then got out there by the golf course, on my way back, looked at my watch... and "thought" I had 5 extra minutes. So I decided to tack on a little more trail time...
Not a good move...
