It will be the 35th running of the Firecracker 5K. It is one of the oldest running traditions in Little Rock and even the state. It is always exciting to watch the elites crossing the finish line in 13:40 +- a few seconds. Yet the real fun comes in watching the desire of the average runner trying to set new PR for a 5K on one of the fastest courses in the state. Sign up now at either getmeregistered.com or come by Easy Runner any day of the week. One Friday, Saturday and even Sunday before the race we will be registering people and handing out chips and race numbers to those that registered early.
