Dang Kim....You beat Billy by 2 or 3 minutes yesterday. Their team was even 4th. I would say you got a good chance of whipping fat boy's butt right now. Bet him while the betting's good. Drink it up while you can

Geez Kim, you beat me and Billy for the first time in a year and you sound like the Black Pony. However, unlike RLAG, ( or TOHL if she ever races again) you are apparently willing to give me and the fat boy a chance to redeem ourselves this Sat.
One race a Grand Prix season does not make. Just remember the standings at the end of last year. Just like Eli, I came thru in the 4th qtr. at Spa City and beat back the wannabe.

Ha,,I know how Billy rolls..
,,wait,,he would roll if he fell down,,,
.. and yes,,,D-Mac,,it's the end of the year that counts. No doubt you had a bad race Sat. Also I haven't done any speed and this will be my first race since the Spa under a 10K..
..so you may both get me Sat. You were both way ahead of me at the 5K mark Sat

Dang Dsmack, from the sounds of him I wouldn't say he's even up to the Black Pony's standards! More like Lou Holtz standards!!!
Hummm, he hasn't done speedwork and kicks our butts soundly. We have been doin speedwork and were several minutes slower that we thought we'd be Sat. Hummm, something starting to make sense here??? Anyway, back to the story. Ya Dsmack, you'd think he'd have the confidence to bet at least one of us this Saturday??? I wonder who he'll pick???
At least one of us I hope!
Where's the Kim Howard I remember that never backed down from a challenge??? You know, the one that did get down and kiss someones shoes at the end of a certain marathon!!!

I'll be back before you know it and redeeming my tohl title more than likely. Got over 5 miles in today for the first time without hip flexor pain. Watch out! Hope to see most of you tomorrow on the track...if you're not too banged up from the river trail.

Amy, if you wanna run in the grand prix again, I know some great AURA runners who would love to have you. Jen and I are on the same team now.
Smiles.

Yes, I beat them,,,but D-mac didn't have a good race. He beat me like a dog at the Hr Track Run. Billy, why don't u hang around after the VD 5K sat? D-Mac and I are doing a long run afterward,,,if you will commit to doing at least 13 with us, I'll bet u on the race Sat

I'd love to but my daughter has Upwards Basketball at 10.30am. I 'll be hustling around trying to get to that after the race. But I would still take a SMALL wager if your up to it!

Let's see - race starts at 9 am and Clydesdale is suppose to pick up his daughter to get her to a game by 10:30. Has he done the math ? Will he even be thru with the race by that time? Wait, now I remember, there are several "short cuts" at Bona Dea that he is known to use when needed. Sounds to me like we may need a course marshall.
