Little Rock Marathon and 1/2 Marathon

I received the following email - I confirmed with Fordham University that he is a student - if anyone wants to help him out the link is toward the bottom.
Dear Runner,
My name is Riley Nickols and I am a doctoral candidate at Fordham University Graduate School of Education. I am conducting my dissertation study and am examining how athletes' emotions can change over time before and after a race.
Individuals who are eligible to participate in my study include adult (at least 18 years-old) male or females who are entered in the Little Rock Marathon or Half Marathon on March 4, 2012.
I am collecting data via self-report electronic questionnaires at three separate periods: one month before the race (February 4, 2012), one day before the race (March 3rd, 2012), and one week after the race (March 11th, 2012). Each of the online questionnaires should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. The questionnaires will ask how you are feeling about the race and also some of your personal characteristics, such as age and gender. The second and third questionnaires will include questions about your upcoming race in addition to your feelings about a future race. In order for the questionnaires to be valid, all of the items must be answered. While you may stop answering questions at any time and leave the website with the questionnaire, if you do participate, you must answer all of the questions. Completion of the first questionnaire does not obligate you to complete the second or third questionnaires.
No risks are believed to be involved in this study other than possibly provoking unpleasant thoughts or feelings you might have regarding your upcoming race. Although you may not benefit directly from participating in this study, findings from this study could have implications for sport psychologists, coaches, and/or athletes and may help us learn more about how athletes’ emotions change over time in relation to athletic competition.
A link to each of these online questionnaires will be emailed to you through an email address you provide. Your email address and identity will remain confidential and will not be shared with anyone. The names and email addresses will be destroyed after the study is completed.
Individuals who complete all three questionnaires at the three data collection periods (one month before your race, one day before your race, and one week after your race), will automatically be entered in a raffle to win one of two $50 gift cards to a running/triathlon store. The raffle will be held in May 2012 and the two winners will be notified via email.

Sincerely,
Riley Nickols
