Arkansas Chapter of the Road Runners Club of America announces River Trail 15k and award ceremony.

The second race of the 2013 Arkansas Grand Prix Series will be the River Trail 15k on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 9:00 am in the soccer fields area of Burns Park and portions of the North Little Rock River Trail. This 9.3 mile course is a championship event for the Grand Prix and attracts hundreds of runners each year from across the state.

The awards ceremony for both the River Trail 15k race and the 2012 Grand Prix will follow the race at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.

A Garmin Forerunner 210 will be given out as a door prize. Must be present to win. In addition to River Trail 15k and 2012 Grand Prix awards, personalized finisher medals from the 2012 One Hour Track Run will be available to claim.

All times for the awards are estimates. The awards will start after everyone has finished up the River Trail race and makes it to the stadium. There is no rush even if it looks like I scheduled it that way. :-)

The River Trail race awards are first and then the Grand Prix awards will follow.
