!! RRCA awards nominations !!
I will formally ask for nominations for 2013 RRCA awards on September 1 and will start voting two weeks later. But anyone can send in nominations at any time. Email your nominations to staterep@arkrrca.com. Include the category and a brief explanation why the person is worthy of the nomination.

Male Runner of the Year
Masters Female Runner of the Year
Masters Male Runner of the Year
Most Improved Female Runner of the Year
Most Improved Male Runner of the Year
Youth Female Runner of the Year
Youth Male Runner of the Year
Bill Torrey Race Director of the Year
Outstanding Club President
Buzz Wilson Arkansas Spirit Award
Al Beckon Volunteer of the Year
There are ultra awards but those are nominated and decided by AURA.
Keep in mind that RRCA awards are not limited to Grand Prix runners or races. However, it is true that runners and races that have a wide exposure are more likely to win if they are known to people across the state.
The RRCA awards are presented at the RRCA Meeting and Awards Ceremony following the Spa 10k in Hot Springs on November 23. Put this on your calendars now!
