Bob at the ARK 5K Classic

Hey y'all
I'm posting to ask if you might be able to help me with Bob this weekend at the ARK 5K Classic. Bob's walking it! Well, he's registered. I think he'll walk it. He groused about not being registered at the Go! Mile, so I'm going to give it a try. Carol Young is going to hang tight with him and walk it with him, but more help would be very, very good.
Carol is going to meet us 6:30-6:45 so I can warm up, and she's going to do the race with Bob. I'll loop back during my warm up to check on him, see him again before we start, and come back from the finish to walk in with them.
The time we could use help most is before the race. Say hi, tell Bob who you are, tell him he looks great, tell him you've seen him walk at a bunch of races or with the Little Rock Marathon group. Tell him you saw him play guitar at a club and it was really cool and he was amazing. Come walk in to the finish with him. If you're at the finish line or see him after he's done, say all that stuff again.
Thanks a bunch for anything you can do to make him feel good. His Alzheimer's is moving pretty fast.
I can't wait to see you all. I miss you bunches.
xxOOO,
Karen H
