On a tangent, I always appreciate when a race has the "No T-shirt Option" for a discounted fee.

2011 now linked to the Archive index page.
2012 is still a work in process but I'll have a skeleton page so everyone can access the scoreboards at least in a couple minutes.

Ha, yeah :hcat: is right! I used colored pencils even when writing the points in. Different colors for overall, masters, grand masters and seniors. I think I've got selective amnesia about the age groups because I don't remember much about that. I remember emailing you a spreadsheet with everyone br...

Mistakes are possible and if one is made, please send an email to staterep@arkrrca.com. Typically, mistakes arise from misspellings in the race results which usually happens with manual race form registrations. Definitely! Let us know as soon as possible if your name is misspelled in any way in the...

Team Scoring

Hey all, Had a question about team scoring at the Spring Fling and thought I would share the answer here in case anyone else doesn't know how it all works. I did this a few years back, but there have been so many posts on our forum, it was bogging down the server and I had to prune all the old stuff...

Keeping track of the Arms Race is pretty time consuming. But, if you are interested in it, all you need to do is copy/paste the roster into an Excel spreadsheet. Then have Excel sort the roster by club. Then you can parse out the different teams and keep a running tally on this forum for everyone to...

Re: RT 15 K

Is there a chili cook off this year? I need to start getting my team together. Yes, the chili cook off is back for 2012. Same (lack of) rules as last year. The 15K Race Awards, GP Awards and Chili Cookoff will be held indoors at the Burns Park Hospitality House once again. That building will be ope...

Will Lee Epperson join the Sub 60 Club at the 2012 15K?

http://www.littlerockroadrunners.com/photos/albums/miscellanenous/lee.jpg Lee Epperson has never broken 60 minutes at the River Trail 15K. But... last year he was close with a 1:01:22 finish. Since then he has personally vowed to run 59:59 or better. Lee even stated, "I will not rest until I'm...

I realize that GP runners are probably naturally competitive by nature, but I think perhaps the awards are being taken too seriously. It's all for fun. :D Whether or not you "win" a vote for Most Improved or Overall Runner of the Year doesn't change one thing about what you did in the past...

Joe, the Arkansas RRCA awards are not limited to performance in the Grand Prix Series. In this case, both the runners you mentioned that are Grand Prix rookies having been running for years but each have set multiple PRs this year. Runners only have to be members of Arkansas RRCA running clubs to be...
