Christmas Eve Fun Run

Post by paulward »

The LRRC will have another holiday fun run. Meet this Friday, Dec. 24th, at 7:00am at the Big Dam Bridge Little Rock-side parking lot by the porta-potties. We'll head over the bridge and down the NLR river trail. Mileage options are endless. The bridge is 8/10 of a mile, so run to the 7.0 mile marker on the trail for 1 mile (2 miles round trip). For those unfamiliar with the NLR river trail, it has mile markers every 1/4 mile. The base of the bridge on the NLR side is 7.25 miles, and the trail goes down river to 0 miles past the Verizon Arena. North shore residents can park on the NLR side of the bridge and join us down the trail.

Walkers and runners of all paces and distances are welcome. Bring your own water and hot chocolate. Feel free to wear bells and Christmas attire. This is a fun run; no timing, no awards, no water stations.

Hope you can make it. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good run.
