White Rock Classic cancellation

Unfortunately we must announce that the 18th Annual White Rock Classic 50K, that was scheduled for Saturday, February 5th has been cancelled for this year. :cry:

The Forest Service has closed a portion of White Rock Mountain Road--around the six mile point of the race. They do not want vehicles or pedestrian traffic out there at this time as they are doing road and bridge construction.

Please help spread the word on this.

The AURA and the Forest Service work together to make sure that all races & fun runs are safe for the athletes so please do not go against this regulation as it could jeopardize future White Rock and other AURA races.

Stay tuned for an update on the possibility of a replacement for White Rock in the current Ultra Trail Series. If such a race is arranged it will not be on February 5th.

Replacing White Rock Classic in the 2010-2011 Ultra Trail Series will be the Traveller Mini-Loop on February 26th. 25 miles on forest road. More info at:
