I am posting this in case I missed anyone who is not on facebook.... I know a lot of people are planning to come to run the Houston Marathon in January and also to cheer me on the day before in the Olympic Trials. I have made the statement several times that I may not be the fastest, but I WILL have the best support crew there :) I am getting shirts made so that my loud obnoxious cheering section can be even more loud and obnoxious to look at....probably bright flourescent orange or something. Anyway, I will not be charging anything for the shirts, I would just like anyone who wants to wear one to let me know what size you need so I can get them ordered. I hope this doesn't seem conceited.....i'm just proud to show what kind of love Arkansas can give. :) Thanks guys!!

I ran New York in 08 and got to watch the men's trials the day before the race. Team Hanson was handing out shirts, playing cards, life size cut-outs, etc of the several runners they had in the race and encouraging folks to yell for their guys.

I don't see anything wrong with your getting all the support you can for the race from all who will be there. We are proud that you are one of us and haven't gotten too big for your britches to remember us little folks. :mrgreen: Train hard and and don't take running advice or bets from the RVR crew.

Awwww DHMAC.......with betting with us she might need a little stimulation and motivation.....it could help....lol
Silly Billy was so Nilly....Couldn't run the Nebo Hilly....lol

wow....I don't know if I can compete with cardboard cutouts.....lol....but what's cool is that my fans will be REAL fans :) Not people my sponsor had to bribe on the street :)
