SCS Yoga Class
Our members only yoga class with be a 5 week introductory course and will be held at Fitness Unlimited on Thursday nights from 7 - 8:30 p.m.
You do not have to be a member of Fitness Unlimited to join the class. However, if you are a member of Fitness Unlimited you get a discount on the cost of the yoga course.
The price for 5 weeks is $55 for members of Fitness and $75 for all other Striders. That works out to about $15 per class and even less for members of Fitness.
Our first yoga class will convene on February 3rd at 7 p.m. I hope you'll join us.

I was planning on going - I'm hoping I'm not the only guy there.
Has there been an answer to if we can pay on a class by class basis?

Re: SCS Yoga Class
That answer is no. The gym won't allow the instructor to do it. All the more reason to commit to five weeks. That's just long enough to learn to like it.chris_h wrote:Has there been an answer to if we can pay on a class by class basis?

The first SCS yoga class is off to a fantastic start. In five weeks at least ten of us are gonna be leaner and bendy! If you still want to join in, the instructor indicates that members may still join up at the second class (although the fitness center will not allow her pro-rate the fee) but since the class will be progressive learning it will be too difficult for newbies to jump in after that. So if you still want in, next Thursday is the time to do it!

Tonight's yoga class (2/10) will be postponed until the end of the five weeks so that no one has to drive home after the re-freezing of today's melt. Following the Little Rock Marathon we will get a restorative yoga class to make up for missing tonight.
However, you are encouraged to practice at home wih the homework handouts you were given last week.
