Sara Low Memorial 5k Race Medals and Signup

The 2011 Sara Low Memorial 5k Medals are in. It will be on display at upcoming races along with entry forms. This year is the 10th anniversary of the attack on America. Here is how you can get the medal:

AWARDS: Finishers will receive a limited edition 10th Anniversay Medal. These will be limited to the first 360 entries. Bib numbers will be provided this year and you must have a bib number between 1 and 360 and cross the finishline to recieve a medal. If three months prior to the race it looks like the 360 will be gone, we will order more and up the number that will be passed out. If you're bib number 361 and you come in first, you will not receive a medal, but you will be listed as the overall winner in the Sara Low 5k.

NOTE: There will not be any awards. Everybody gets a medal. We will provide results and let you know who the top 3 overalls are and how you placed in each agegroup.

I guess the Sara Lowe race is not on the Grand Prix this years? I was certain I saw it on they schedule earlier in the year?
Why run fast, when you can run where they aint.

Nope, it's every other year. We have to alternate with another 5k race.

I've seen the medal. Its better than a lot of marathon medals. Very nicely done.
Making slow running look good since 2006.

Sara Low 5k Information: Packet pickup will be Friday, (9/9) from 6 to 8pm and Saturday (9/10) from 6 to 7:45am at the Batesville High School Football field. We will be using bib numbers this year and you must wear it to get your medal as you cross the finish line. We will have an awards ceremony at the end and invite all participants to stay for a brief recorded messege from Mike Low (Sara's father). On-line registration will end on Friday at noon.
