OHTR

Post by klenser »

To Paddy and his Irish Lassies: This was my first "circle race" and I thought
it was well organized. No one got lost!! Paddy ordered up the weather from the Old Sod...it wasn't "pea soup" fog and dampness, but "Peat Bog-ish" from the moors of Kilkelly. Ideal running conditions!

The music really was a plus and it helped that knew every song on Paddy's Playlist. I was shocked there was no Jimi Hendrix, Uriah Heep, Procol Harem, or Yes..

After turning left over 150 times, my next training run will only have right turns t as I need to get balanced again.

Paddy: Time for some fundraising for a new track!!

Another great running of the OHTR. Lots to like about the race. Looks like it both grew and was less congested by evening out the heats more.

And how about the level of detail provided by lap by Mac - pretty awesome and especially fun to compare first lap to last lap. This race is unlike any other in so many ways, but Mac makes it look easy.

Mills had a heck of a run still..he mentioned a bet afterward. Like D-Mac said,,"Where does he pull a run like that out of his hat".. I know better than to bet him. He'll pull a 19:00 5K out of his hat,,

For me to pull a 19 out right not I can assure you would be pulling it of somewhere else!!! Remember Kim, Dsmack said that when he thought I had beaten him, come to find out he was about to lap me! At least being lapped so many times by so many people did motivate me to get serious about the wt. loss! I assure you I'll be no match for you guys till some of this blubber melts away, and I'm proud to say.... I haven't had a cinnabun since Sunday! :ohyeah:
