I know. I know.

5 a.m. is so difficult for me.

6 a.m.? That's a little better.

Maybe next week.

Pleasant Valley Group-Routes

Does anyone have a map or a USATF link to the route(s) typically run by the Pleasant Valley group each morning?

Mitochondria,

In theory, we have a route for Tuesday, another one for Wednesday, and so on through Friday. Each complete route is about 6 to 6.4 miles, but many of us do not run the complete route-of-the-day and we're very likely to alter the "official" route mid-run just for the heck of it. I've been running with this group since the Spring and I doubt we have ever run the same exact route two Thursdays in a row. Nevertheless, I always have a good time running with these folks, even when I'm lost. Just come run with us.

Joe,

Thanks for the info, it was very helpful. I actually ran with the group a few weeks ago. In addition, you and I ran last week together. I'm the one with all the medical stories!

Howard might very well be the wisest marathoner on the planet.

Dear PV running friends:

Have y'all quit running, or just quit running at PV? There's still two or three of us that show up somewhat consistently. Come on out. I'm starting to miss you all.

Joe, it's not definite yet but the group that has been meeting every once in a while by the Metropolitan Bank on N Rodney Parham may become a more permanet thing on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I will give you a call to let you know when I find out.
