I may have miscalculated my chances this weekend against my friendly age-group foe! I thought he'd ran a marathon last week, but as it turns out it was 2 weeks or more ago. Not to mention I have intel that he WON a race last week with a time faster than I could possible run right now! Geez... this could be a VERY costly tactical blunder! Especially after all the bets I've won from him in the past! I sit in fear that a Diet Coke Challenge from him will soon beckon this thread.

Oh Billy you crack us all up. We can just hear the line zipping from your reel and now your ready to set the hook. We sure are glad your back though.Clydesdale wrote:I may have miscalculated my chances this weekend .. Especially after all the bets I've won from him in the past! Billy, I agree with Michael, the reel is humming as the line spools out !! Even though you let us "drop" you on Tues nite, we were only doing 8+ min miles and not for a minute do I think you couldn't have kept up with us. Maybe you just like running alone in the dark.

In the words of Kim Howard, waiting at the finish line for me to finish... SPANK YOU FOR COMING! What a race! I felt like Fat Albert racing Lennie and Squiggy! Little did I know he'd have his Evil Apprentice with him, Don Still, to thoroughly work me over the first few miles, then like Cobra waiting to strike.... Kim launches his attack up the mtn. I still can't get the picture out of my head of him slowly pulling away, leaving me to fend off his partner in crime, battleing till the end not to get totally faced by the duo! The only good thing? There were no wagers made! Who knows what this deadly duo will have planned when next we race? The only thing for sure is, they'll probably want to bet!
