Ok the doctor made 5 incisions from the belly button up to the breast bone. He went inside to lapriscopically repair the holes in John's esophogus (spelling). They also repaired a hernia in the upper stomach. He is on a liquid diet for a few more days to a week at minimum. He has 10 staples holding together the incisions. They will come out on Thursday unless John keeps picking at them.
John told me he's not sure if his problem is fixed but he has been allowed to walk. He has walked 4 miles successfully at one time so far. It's killing him not to run. He's going to a marathon with me this week and just cheering me on. He's such a great spirit.
Russellville would be a less happier club without him. I hope folks tell hime that he should stay in Russellville. The men's club is quite viable. Of course, the women are unclear.
Hopefully, the Stallion will recover quickly before his Danville No Name 5k/10k race! See your there!
Doc said no running until Jan. 1st, just in time for the Yellar Jersey challenge. Redemption should be mine! I failed this run this year but 2011 shall be my year of Revenge!
