UPDATED--Polar Plunge and 5k fun run at Hurricane Lake

The Saline County 2011 Polar Plunge and 5k fun run will be held at Hurricane Lake Estates on January 15th. The Striders will be a sponsor of this event which benefits the Arkansas Special Olympics.

The Saline County Striders will host an informal Pre-Plunge
warm-up 1 mile and 5K Fun Run which will be open to everyone
beginning at 9 am. This is a show up and run with no sign-up, no
results, and no entry fee. However, if you wish to give please consider
a donation to the Special Olympics.

Allan Woiwood is jumping in! Allan is also marshaling the fun run on his own and could use a few helpers--all are invited to convene at his house afterward to warm up in the hot tub. Follow up with Allan at allan.woiwood@hotmail.com.
